As the end of The Pollyanna Plan draws ever nearer (eeek!), I’m realising more and more just how much better my health is compared to this time last year. Yippeeee!
Take this week for example. I have been well enough to go out and about a record 3 times – to the shopping centre for a couple of hours on Monday, for coffee (green tea, in my case) at the beach with my Mum and her friend yesterday and back to the shopping centre for an hour this morning. Oh and I’ve walked the dogs every day this week. YEY!
If you’ve only just stumbled upon my blog, you may be wondering what the big deal is. In the past I have regularly been confined to the house and too ill to go out for weeks on end, so the fact that I am healthy enough to go out and do normal, everyday things 3 times in one week is HUMUNGOUS progress.
I can’t begin to explain just how brilliant it feels to be typing this. The Pollyanna Plan works, it really works!!! 🙂
Day 329, Reason 329: Today I am extremely grateful and jumping for joy to be feeling healthy enough to get out of the house THREE times in ONE week. 🙂
Oh, and just a quick update on yesterday’s post. After the joy of discovering his singing voice yesterday afternoon, my dog Shep thought we’d be pleased to hear his dulcet tones from 5:30am onwards. We were not!! I’m currently searching for his mute button. 😉
