Life’s Little Miracles – Day 280 of The Pollyanna Plan

Something rather special happened this morning…

I haven’t been sleeping well for the past few nights and woke up far too early again this morning feeling pretty tired and fragile.

Nevertheless, I had enough energy for a morning walk with the dogs in the sunshine. Not as rosy as it sounds, seeing as Jude disgraced herself by racing ahead of me back home and stopping by the rubbish collection point to dine from a bin bag someone had dumped on the floor. I wasn’t best pleased (understatement!)

Upon returning home, I hopped in the shower, closed my eyes as I stood under the warm water and tried to think some better feeling thoughts. And when I opened my eyes, there is was…

…A beautiful rainbow on the tiles of the shower wall! (I’ve showered in the same bathroom for years and never seen one before.)

Day 280, Reason 280: Today I am so happy and grateful that I live in a world where rainbows appear in the shower, just when you need them! 🙂

I’ll keep a look out for a unicorn tomorrow! 😉
