Getting It Going – Day 250 of The Pollyanna Plan

After such a momentous day yesterday, today has been somewhat of an anticlimax. I am dog-tried – which always strikes me as being an odd expression seeing as all the dogs I know have bundles of energy.

Anyway, despite not feeling the best, I have been buoyed up today by the tremendous progress I’ve made this week…and it’s only Tuesday! 🙂

I have been reminding myself that, even though I’m pretty exhausted, that’s ok. In fact, it’s perfectly natural, as I’ve done more in the past couple of days than I have for ages and ages. My body just needs to adjust and build up some stamina.

I just came across this quote by Jack Canfield which sums up exactly what I’ve been telling myself all day long.

Day 250, Reason 250: Today I am very happy and grateful that although I haven’t got it perfect yet, I am certainly getting it going. Yippee! 🙂

  1. It is also worth bearing in mind that when you fear you cannot succeed… list everything you achieved before the age of 3…. of course parents help us and we probably have no conscious memory of the success…. but you learnt to focus and see, walk, make noises, talk etc … maybe even recognise numbers and letters…
