Focus On The Journey – Day 99 of The Pollyanna Plan

Journey

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity, but in doing it.” Greg Anderson

I’m still struggling through the illness and exhaustion of an autoimmune flare up today. Looking on the bright side though, there has been a slight improvement in my health from yesterday, and at least the brain fog is now clearing. Yippee!

There was a time when such a setback would totally knock me for six, both physically and emotionally, and it would often take me a long time to recover. But, thanks to The Pollyanna Plan and my newfound outlook on life, I feel completely confident and have total faith that I will soon be feeling much better.

Feeling happy through these tough times is not only a lot more fun than feeling miserable (goes without saying, I know,) but I believe that it is also better for me physically and will dramatically speed up the healing process. That is, after all, the whole essence of The Pollyanna Plan and the reason why I set out on this journey to begin with.

Day 99, Reason 99: Today I am celebrating every joyful step of the wonderful  journey I am on and I’m excitedly looking forward to all that is yet to come.

Roll on Day 100!

266 days to go

266 reasons to feel glad/happy/joyful to find

£238.68 to raise for Save the Children

  1. You are experiencing a deeper sense of being and understanding on your harder days – and approach them full on in a blaze of positivity! Well done, it’s not easy to see the white in grey but you recognise it is there and you can see it!
    Keep going!

  2. Thank you so much! I’m definitely noticing a big change in my outlook, even on tough days, and it makes me happy that you have noticed it too. I love the idea of seeing the white in the grey! 🙂 x
